Dettol for piercing bumps?

i have a little boil like thing on my cartiliage piercing it might even be a keloid.

i phoned the tatoo place where i got it done and they said to buy something called Dettol and mix it with water and put it on,

has anyone used it, and does it work?

well cartaledge tends to get sists or pressure bumps but they are very different

sists are i sign that you're touching the piercing with dirty hands and can leed to an infection if not treated properly

pressure bumps are caused from sleeping on the piercing this is really common and if you keep cleaning it properly the pressure bump will fade after awhile

salene solution or lens plus solution is really the best thing you can use to clean any piercings but one of the best things to do withn cartaledge piercings is to do a salt water soak twice a day (this will help the piercing heal much faster)

but make sure not to over due the cleaning since that can prolong the healing process
