Deuce McAllister or Rashard Mendenhall?

Question

I drafted both of these guys in fantasy football and I'm wondering which one of them I should start as my second RB on a consistent week to week basis. It is the first year of a dynasty keeper league meaning we keep all of our players on our roster each year. I drafted Mendenhall for the future because I think he could be pretty good but not so much this year with having to split carries with Parker. My team looks like this:

Also if you could give me any suggestions on anything else I could do to help out my roster I would appreciate it.(like trades, who to start, who to drop, etc.)

Wow, this one is tough but I think that Deuce is way too much of an injury risk. go with mendenhall.

That's a good team.  You are all set, especially at WR and RB, which are obviously the two most important positions.

Mendenhall is definitely the starter for week 1 until you get a bearing on who is going to have the better year.  Mendenhall should be this year's Marion Barber or Maurice Jones-Drew, getting a huge number of TDs per carry.  He will split carries with Parker but could get more fantasy points, and even if he gets half of the RB points in Pittsburgh that will be better than Deuce.

My advice would be to drop your two bench defenses and your one bench kicker and pick up two more RBs and one more WR.  You do not need any bench Defenses or kickers - it's hard enough to know which one will be good enough to play, let alone three defenses and two kickers.  Chicago is definitely the defense to keep, between Tynes and Kasay I think I would pick Tynes.

Is Mendenhall the primary back? Deuce is on my favorite team (GO SAINTS!!!) and carries the ball in a 2 back system with Reggie Bush. If Mendenhall is running the ball alone, him. If their both in a 2 back system, go with Deuce!

I would go with Mendenhall bcuz he has more upside to him and he will get the goalline carries so that will make his TD's be high but another thing about your team is i would change your Qb's around bcuz i like Garrard this yr

I would go with Rashard Mendenhall. Yeah, he is not the starter, but I believe he will get the goalline carries. Unlike Deuce, who will get the yards, but have the TDs taken away by Reggie. So, basically, it comes down to what do you need more of, yards or TDs.
