  1. Unfortunately any rebuilding in your country is most likely going to require some more destruction first.

I do not know your political views or what you think, but from my limited knowledge, Robert Mugabe needs to be removed from power, and quickly. If the west is going to turn a blind eye (again) and forget the terrible legacy it has caused across Africa, then this can only happen through the Zimbabweans themselves.

I do not think there will be any help at present for your home, as your government is corrupt and will not help you- they are more likely to kill you. The western governments will not help, as they only "care" so that their own voters will think they are decent people- they don't really want the inconvenience of going into battle to help those in need in this world.

Aid agencies and charities will find it difficult to help, and would normally focus on the basics of survival- food, water, clothing, basic shelter and so on. They would not be any use to you just now as the situation is unstable, so even if they have the money, they will not build your house back from scratch for you.

I am sorry to hear of your sadness and loss, and hope that enough people across the world apply pressure on the people in power, who have allowed this to happen to you, that change will come, and soon.

I wish you luck, and I know that many of us are supporting you as a people.

  2. Sorry to hear of your troubles, in Zimbabwe it will depend on who you support and your ethnicity, but you already know that right?

  3. Ag, Siestog man....

  4. That is rotten luck, and you are still in winter.
