Devastator with explosive chances of success in the Betfred ‘Bonus King Bingo’ Trophy Final
Betfred ‘Bonus King Bingo’ Trophy Final carries the prize money of £500, which will be contested by six in the line-up.
The race will be staged at Kinsley over 268 metres flat on Tuesday, 26th June. Taking part are Devastator, Minglers Jaguar, Ballymac Jones, Skate On, Swabys Tony and Skane Meadows.
Heading on with the backing of 3 to 1 odds is Devastator, and is among the most accomplished on the track.
Droopys Scholes’ four-year-old black and white daughter out of b***h, Goes Wild, is a lightly raced contestant, as she has been out six times in the new season.
Her seasonal debut was on 14th January in the William Hill Standard at Sunderland over 450 metres. The race did not prove out to be a memorable one, as she finished sixth.
The second start of the season had her finishing in third in the William Hill Standard on 21st January at Sunderland over 450 metres.
The race was won by, Coolruss Diva, who went through in 27.72 seconds, and won by a mere half-length.
Devastator took 27.80 seconds to conclude the race.
The trainer, K. Macari, thought better of it and drilled the four-year-old thrice in a row at Sunderland over two different distances. She started off with a 261 metres drill in 16.08 seconds on 1st March, and then downed 450 metres in 28.47 seconds on 16th March.
The training did prove effective as, Devastator, won the 261 metres race on 28th April at Sunderland by reaching the other end of the wire in 15.83 seconds. She led the runner-up of the race, Congo Hope, by 1 ¼ lengths.
She then settled as the runner-up in the Greyhoundscene Sprint on 5th May at Sunderland over a distance of 261 metres by completing the trip in 15.71 seconds. The race was won by, Goonsosure, who timed the track distance in 15.61 seconds.
On 17th June she landed the Kinsley Sprint Trophy – Heat 2 at Kinsley over 268 metres by clocking the track distance in 16.09 seconds, and led by a short head’s distance.
The 7 to 4 favourite of the race, Swabys Tony, was done in 16.09 seconds.
Devastator has all the chances of claiming the race tonight.
