When developing SLR film what size do you think would be best besides regular 4x7

  1. 4x7?? is that a new one?

    developing? or do you mean printing/developing prints not the film?

    35mm is a 2:3 format so unless you wish to crop your images stick to - 4x6, 6x9, 8x12 et cetera

  2. Personally, I'm particularly fond of 5x7.  I find 8x10 and larger just too big for most casual viewing except as centerpieces.  Unless, of course, you're goal is to print a poster or something.

    I often do one 8x10 with 5x7s and 4x6s on the same theme surrounding it.

  3. 4x6 or 8x12 are proportional for 35mm film
