  1. Yes.  If she is eating a lot of chicken, these are FULL of hormones.  Milk is also chock full.  I have a 4 year old granddaughter developing b*****s.  My daughter feeds her a lot of chicken.  I only buy Organic milk and limit the amount of chicken unless I can find chicken that doesn't have the hormones.

  2. No it is not the "hormones" in foods, it is called nature.  I was nine when I was in my first bra and it wasn't a trainer.   My cousin was 8..she was 8 in 1959.  My oldest daughter started having periods when she was 10.  Those "hormones" are natural hormones by the way...especially in milk.  Milk comes from FEMALE bovines...and they happen to be mammals...just like HUMANS.  The milk we drink comes from bovine b*****s, just like a human baby drinks from it's mother's breast.  Of COURSE there is going to be hormones in the milk...they are female bovine hormones, just like hormones that come from human breast milk.  If you don't want your children getting NATURAL hormones in their milk switch to soy.

  3. Well high fat/high carlorie diets stimulate the production of a hormore GnRH, which stimulates the onset of puberty.  Now a days, a kid with the best diet, still has a worse diet than the avg child did 30 years ago.

This is only one theory, and it may be hormones added to food, but it has to be something in a child's diet, I believe

I started puberty at 6, but my mother and father had both started before the age of 10 (40 years ago) so in my case it was purely genetic

  4. Puberty starts at different ages.  Eight is early, but still considered normal.  The best thing this parent can do for her daughter is support her.  She is in for some teasing.

  5. Every child develops at different rates. At eight years old some children could have one or two signs of puberty. Puberty is a long proses. Different factors decide when certain things will happen. If her mother developed early or they happen to be hairier people it is not uncommon for her.

  6. Early puberty does seem to be on the rise, but there have been no breakthrough studies explaining the reason for this, only theories.  One of the theories does suggest hormones in food, but as of yet there have been no studies confirming this.  If you can remember back to your prepubescent years, I am sure you can remember that you and all your friends developed at different rates, got your periods at different ages, and began to wear a bra at different times.  8 years old is on the young end of beginning puberty and it can just be that she is developing early, but there are also medical reasons for this to happen.  I have 3 daughters.  My youngest is 10 1/2.  If she had begun to develop b*****s and pubic hair at 8 I would have taken her to her doctor to make sure it was normal for her or if there was some medical concern.  You really can't compare your 8 year old with your 8 year old niece, they are 2 different people with different genes and each will develop at the rate that is right for them.  My 3 girls have the same mom and dad yet each began to develop at a different age.  If eating a lot of chicken and drinking a lot of milk could cause early puberty, all of my kids would have started early, but they didn't.  When you start puberty is related to hormones, but it is the ones you are born with and not likely connected to those sometimes used in food.

  7. Yes I really believe certain foods have an effect on young bodies.  Nowadays everything is giving hormones to make them grow bigger , even some of your vegetables now are given hormone boosts to make them bigger.

  8. well my sister started her period at 8 years old all childeren develop at there on rate most will get ane realyl bad wehn they are around 13 if they develope early but it will be ok its perfectly normal so dont worry!!

  9. i started developing at 8 i wore a brawl acup.i know someone who stated there period at 9.

  10. It could be the hormones they put in food, or that they feed teh animals we eat.  Is seems like now a days a lot of girls are developing early for these reasons.  Just remember that everyone also develops at their own pace, so maybe your daughter has a few years more to wait.  Sometimes an overweight child develops faster too.  Keep that in mind.

  11. I developed early, as well did my neice, i looked like a full blown 16/17 year old when i was 11 and differnet girls do at different stages however with todays food having all the chemicals and hormons in it. I wouldn`t be suprised one bit of that pushed her a little bit but by the age of 9 a lot of girls are already starting their peirod now a days.  my neice just did 2 months ago and with talking to her teacher almost 75% of the girls in her class are as well.
