why is globalization increasing the gap in income, wealth, and economic growth that already exists between developed and developing countries?

  1. To develop, the people of a country must produce more than they consume.  This then becomes their capital to further increase productivity and production.

    Poor people increase their consumption every time they get aid or increase production by more than the aid or production increase, and thus end up poorer than before.  Poor people who feel "rich" for the moment produce more mouths to feed, then cannot increase production enough to meet the increased demand/consumption.  The developed and developing countries are galloping ahead of those countries with high birth rates (increasing consumption), which are declining ever more quickly.


  2. Because globlisation is spearheaded by big business and big government.  Neither of which have any interest in fair trade - the freeer the better.
