2 negatives : losing land to foreigners and large companies

attracts drugs and prostitution to popular places like Limon ,  Quepos - Manuel Antonio and Puntarenas

Hope this somewhat answers your questions.

  2. I stay at the Marriott los suenos

    Marina

    Casino

    golf

    Pool

    Beach

    Canape tours

  3. i also stayed at the marriot los sueños for a few days...but then traveled inland to stay near arenal (to experience hot springs/ best ziplining/ etc)  dont just sit at a resort all week!  also cool was manuel antonio, the park

  4. that sounds more like homework!! anyway...

    5 places:

    5. Arenal Volcano (hot, but cold...interesting weather)

    4. Manuel Antonio (beach)

    3. Tamarindo (beach)

    4. San José de la Montaña (mountain, cold)

    1. Almost any beach!!

    Benefits from tourism:

1.Well...number one, is the entrance of money to the country

2.The possibility for people from rural zones to develop their own business and get a way to live.

    3. Force the people to learn different languages and gave us a perspective and the opportunity to get to know other cultures.

    Negative impact

    1. We loose most of the natural areas to built hotels, and stuff like that.

    2. The increase of prostitution and use and/or abuse of drugs, as well as underage prostitution at tourism zones.

    3. Some, or lots of people who comes here as tourists, then want to buy houses or lands here, and that is no bad thing, but that same people comes and pay lot of money to make their lands (part of the beach) private...but is illegal...so...

To minimize negative impact...well, first the media have to stop selling our country as a drug, kid prostitution, paradise...

The authorities have to be really legal entities...

  5. Coast to coast (10days/9nights)

Initiate your adventure on our Caribbean Coast at the Tortuguero Canals having great opportunities for wildlife spotting (two nights), go white-water rafting on the Sarapiqui River (one night), get thrilled by the canopy ride and relax in soothing hot springs at the base of Arenal Volcano (two nights), top it all with the warmth of a sunny beach in Guanacaste (two nights).
