Developmental Apraxia of Speech...

Question

Does anyone else here have a child with this? If so, how old, and when did you find out? What types of therapy and how often has worked best? If they've started school, how is it going?

I don't have a child with Apraxia, but I am a speech therapist who has worked with several children with it.  In the school setting, I see most children twice a week, for 30 minutes.  I have seen some great gains with children, but so much depends on parental involvement!
