Developmental checklist?

I am a montessori student.my first assignment is to make a developmental checklist about a child [0-6] years old.Will anybody help me?

  1. there are 4 major developmental areas they are cognitive, physical, language and emotional/social.  For example for a two year old:

    cognitive:they can take the perspective of others in situations and make believe becomes more complex

    physical: running, jumping, hopping, and throwing develop language: should display conversational skills and their vocabulary should be rapidly increasing

    emotional/social: a two year old can distinguish their own intentional from unintentional acts and they can understand causes and consequences

    If you divide it in to these areas it makes it a lot easier.  I hope this helps

You can find developmental checklist on-line just type in search box developmental checklist.  These list are simply the things that a child should be doing that are developmentally apporiate for the child's age group.  They are for the most part used to tell if a child has a developmental delay.  I hope I helped
