DeviantART image linking help?

So i found out (in the FAQ's) that this -

<a href="URL address"><img src="Image URL address" alt="Name of Image" /></a>

is image linking. The things i need to know is -

what is the "URL address"?

what is the "image URL address"?

image linking is basically you click a picture and it sends you somewhere.. &lt;img src=&quot;imagee url&quot;&gt; makes the picture appear only but when you add..

&lt;a href=&quot;Url adress&quot;&gt; (this is an image *put img src between* the a&#039;s; or text) &lt;/a&gt; basically makes it so you can link the word or picture to another place.. like :DDDD;; if you don&#039;t put it, it&#039;s just normal text and picture.  I&#039;m not sure how much you know about html so I just said added that.
