Is there commercially available (in 240v AC) a device that uses 2 Plug in Devices (one host & one receiver) where a person can send Video (CVBS) & stereo Audio through the house electrical power socket wiring?

Here is my predicament: I have a Set Top Box in the living room downstairs with Video & Audio (L+R) outputs and I want to get that audio and video upstairs in a bedroom. Conventional ways of wiring no good as too much wiring run and would have to use amplifier and even then it would just be UHF cable not A/V cable. Next conventional way is Digital TV Senders what you buy in the shop, tried it but signal no good picture rolling lost all together especially if someone or something stands in the way of the transmitter and receiver and walls and metal in the way causes problems.

now if there is a device where the audio Video Leads could plug into one adaptor (the host) next the the set top box in a spare 3 pin socket and the other adaptor (the receiver) which had audio/Video out sockets plugged into a 3 pin Electrical wall socket next to the TV in the bedroom (AV signal carrying through the House Sockets ring mains) then I would be sorted! - but is such a thing manufactured I am wondering? - I asked in my local electrical shop and in Currys (UK Electronics store chain) and they haven't heard of one. PCworld showed me a plug in device that carried LAN signal over house wiring through 3 pin adaptor but that was no good for what I need but its got me thinking now that if LAN Internet can be transmitted through house wiring in this way then surely AV signal can be done as well like this.
