  1. hard boiled eggs have only been boiled. Deviled eggs have been boiled, their yolks removed and mashed into a mixture ( usually with mayo and chives) and then re-inserted into the egg whites and displayed an a nice platter..

  2. Well, when you devil eggs, you take out the yokes AFTER there already boiled and add mayo, vinegar, and mustard to them. Its more tasty! I just made them today actually!

Dont forget to sprinkle with Paprika

  3. deviled is tasty but fatty It is the yolk of the hard boiled taken out and mixed with mayo oil vinegar and spices the put back into the white hard boiled egg.

  4. Hard Boiled is just that. You boil the egg until both the yolk and white are hard, end of story. A deviled egg is when the yolk is taken out and prepared with various ingredients and then whipped and served in the hollowed out half portions of the egg it was scooped out of. For the different recipes you could use, check out the link below.

  5. A hard boiled egg is just a plain, cooked egg.  You put the egg into water, still in the shell and boil it until it is done.

To make a deviled egg, you take hard boiled eggs, let them cool and then carefully peel off the shell.

You slice them in half, lengthwise and scoop out the yolk.  Leave the white for later.  Put all the yolks in a bowl and add a combination of mayo, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper and mash together..  Then you pipe or spoon this flavored mixture back into the egg white "shell".  Sprinkle with paprika and serve cold!

They turn out very flavorful and a little tangy.

Everybody has a little bit different recipe for them but those are the basics!

  6. Deviled eggs are typically eggs cut in half, with something added to the yolks.  A traditional deviled egg usually has mayonnaise and paprika.  I have seen people add everything from relish to lobster though, you never know.

A hard boiled egg is just the plain old whole cooked egg.
