Devout God believers: What would you think or how would you feel if you had this dream?

One night, this passed autumn, I had a nightmare. I don't remember how it started. But I remember falling through something pitch black. It so PITCH black, there was nothing to be seen. I was falling, screaming off the top of my lungs. I was so scared. Then, as I fell, I bypassed Satan, but instead of Satan looking like he does in reality, he was that red being people associate the devil being. Satan was just standing where he was. The dream ended before seeing if I was going to end up in lake of fire or not.

In my conscious mind, though making efforts to please God in His standards, I sometimes do wonder if I may be at risk of going to h**l because of past sins. When I had this dream, it was at a time God was showing me how I can properly grow in Him. ( I did not fully go about it the right way) Since the dream I made lots of spiritual changes, but am still not close to perfection. The dream had really scared more than the wits out of me because though I know dreams are mainly about solving something from the conscious mind, I also know that in the Bible, God gave dreams as to give someone heads up.

  3. You shouldnt think of horror films or other works of fiction before bed.

  4. Look up the research on a substance called DMT dimethyltryptamine.

Its the most phychoactively potent hallucinogen on the planet, and occurs in many plants worldwide, and every single mammal worldwide.

Its produces in your brain during REM sleep, and might be responsible for all our crazy dreams us people have sometimes.

People call it "The Spirit Molecule"

Its interesting stuff, read up on it.

  5. Being saved is about confessing that Jesus is Lord (as opposed to other gods) and believing that God raised him from the dead (that God has all power - even enough to help deliver you with struggles.)  However, it is not about being perfect.  Christ died as the ultimate sacrafice for your sins.  There's no way you can pay for them.  If you are living (submitting your struggles to God and running from sin daily), then you are in Chirst.  If you are in Christ, you don't have to feel condemned.  You believe that God has the power, and he does.  From this point on, you'll still sin, but it's all about submission to obeying his Word and trying to live as he lived (his character and nature that is.)  Don't beat yourself up.  I would view the dream as fear.  If you believe that Christ died for you and that he rose again - you ARE saved.  You are not going to h**l, and you can't pay for your own sins.  Walk humbly and try to live holy, obeying God's word daily, and your walk with God will get better.  He will speak to you and assure you that you are loved and favored.  Your sins will not have a hold on you like you used to.  You will feel that there is always a way out when you're tempted and you will take this way out b/c you will be strong from seeking the Lord daily in the name of Jesus.   God bless.

  6. Could you draw satan for us? I can express him through the medium of dance  but its just not the same somehow................

  7. If you have accepted the Lord Jesus as your saviour, you are saved.  You cannot then be sent to the lake of fire.  The bible says that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

You have to "work out your salvation", not work for your salvation.   "Working out" means like someone working out a rich seam in a mine that they already have.  You do your best to grow in knowledge and grace BECAUSE you are already saved and not in order to be saved.

  8. Err, so what did you mean by, "...but instead of Satan looking like he does in reality..."

What DOES Satan look like in reality?

  9. It sounds like you handled it well

    tGod bless

  10. That is some dream. But i believe in my heart you are going to be fine. The lord will protect u & guide u to the right path.

  11. Maybe God felt that you needed that dream to change your life and start living your life for him.  If you apologize for your  sins, God will forgive you.  God is forgiving and if you stop breaking the commandments and try really hard to sin less, and apologize for your sins, then he will forgive you.
