  1. I am not sure how their game programming course is, but they are accredited and you can get a job in that field as soon as you graduate (instead of having to look for a career, the career will find you in a way), i'm pretty sure that if these companies are looking at DeVry graduates, they are doing someting right

  2. No offense to DeVry students, but I wouldn't say that's the best option.

Well, no game programming specific undergraduate program is the answer for that matter. I'd recommend a computer science program, possibly at USC since it's a respectable college with close ties to game industry.

  3. Sure you can attend USC or Devry.  Truly, it is not the school that helps you get a job, it is your skills and experience.  Devry is a hands on school and they will teach you the necessary programing languages you will need.   It is how you apply yourself to school, if you give it all you got and the best you can be, anyone will want to hire you and pay you top dollars.  I have a friend who went to a private school like Devry for game programming, he graduated and got multiple job offers.  If you can't attend USC, I don't see why you would not attend Devry.

Unless you want to go in to management, some companies are vias towards Devry and only promote UCs students.  If you don't want to be a manager (lots of stress) and just want to program, then Devry is suitable for you.
