Question:

Deworming question....?

I board my horses at a neighbors farm, it's all I can afford. She's very nice and doesn't charge me anything as long as I take care of my own horses and pay for feed.

The only problem is that she also has a couple and she does not deworm them. I don't know why, I've asked her and she only deworms if they look like they have worms (ugh! >_<) It bothers me because I know my horses can still get worms if they're kept with hers-it doesn't matter if i worm them religously or not.

So, my question is, what if I switch to an every day dewormer? You know the kind that comes in a bucket and you mix in their feed? Would that protect my horses? If not, I think I might start deworming her horses for her, which will me cost a lot. But its better than wormy horses I guess.
