Dhaka Metropolis v Khulna Division – National Cricket League, 2012/13 – Match Update
A focused all-round performance from the Khulna Division enabled them to clinch a massive 188-run win over the Dhaka Metropolis in their first-class match during the ongoing National Cricket League, played at the Sylhet Stadium in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Bangladesh-c747 from November
16 to 19.
The Dhaka Metropolis won the toss and chose to field on the first day of play – however, the efforts of Mohammad Ashraful (18-1-71-3), Arafat Sunny (25.2-5-82-2), Taskin Ahmed (15-1-50-2), and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Talha-Jubair-c92674 (14-4-68-2) did not prove sufficient, as Khulna
went on to rack up a decent first innings total. Wicketkeeper batsman Mithun Ali drove most of the innings with his massive 120, and was aided in his efforts by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mashrafe-Mortaza-c1917 (58). These, along with a handful of other batsmen, succeeded
in getting Khulna up to 355 before they were all out on day two.

remained lacklustre, and the final day saw the Dhaka Metropolis bowled for 208, with the Khulna Division going on to claim a comprehensive 188-run victory.
