Dhl attempted to deliver my package but nobody was home so will they retry to deliver it later today?

can i drive to the dhl place and get it if they dont try to redeliver it later today?

You should call the customer service number and request that they come at a certain time or find out when they plan on coming so you can be there. They will probably not be able to come back the same day. And yes, you can usually drive to the DHL place but they will close around dinner time. I have done that before with UPS and they're package center was open until around 6pm.

Usually they don't redeliver in the same day and you probably cannot pick it up as most trucks don't get back to the site until right at or after the customer service store closes. There should be a number on the slip they left to call to reschedule a better time for you. Depending on where you live you can leave something by the door that they can leave it in? I do that all the time however I live in a major low crime area and have nothing to worry about as far as theft.
