“Praveen Kumar had an off day today and so Ashwin had to bowl out of his comfort zone in the Powerplays and the slog overs. He bowled well and batted well when we chased," said Dhoni while speaking to media reporters at the post match press conference.
"We have confidence in Ravindra Jadeja to bat at number seven and he also bowled well," the Indian skipper added further.
After a 4-0 Test series humiliation at the hands of Australia, MS Dhoni’s Men in Blue suffered a moral shattering 65-run defeat against the same opposition, but a victory against a struggling Sri Lankan team was essential to help the world champions regain
confidence.

and to keep themselves physically fit.
"You do not get a runner nowadays,” referring to Virat Kohli’s cramps. “You have to learn from mistakes and ensure that you do not get cramps. But it happens. You have to be ready for these circumstances. You have to hydrate yourself well overnight and during
the game," he added further.
