  1. If you mean DSS pensions, (retirement) yes, they're payable if you live in Spain.

  2. u can get your pension in spain and health help but look up the gov pensions site for people living in an eu country

  3. Basic old age pension- yes, disability pension or unemployment benefit- No. If you go and live there I think you can claim it from Spain but not continued from UK, or if you are claiming unemployment or disability pension it stops if you go there for your holidays.

  4. What about them???

Are you asking if UK pensions are paid to people living in Spain or are you asking about 'benifits' as in pension credit?

  5. are you on about old age pension?......................my mum gets hers paid directly into her bank account here, the amount always depends on the exchange rates, many folks also get the heating allowance but this does depend on the date you left the UK, its not complicated but certain areas must be investigated to get all the benefits.

  6. If you are retired or coming to retirement age and looking to come and live in spain, then you need a form from the tax office to transfer the pension etc to spain, You are best off contacting them or get someone to do this on your behalf such as citizens advice

If you are below retirement age you have to contact the tax office and tell them the date you are moving, they will fill form or send you a form e106 i thimnk it is and then you will have a form that you take to the social security  office in the area you are going to be living If you have children you neeed to tell the spanish office and they will add the nbames to this, you are then entitled to medical care etc for up to 2 and a half years, Not sure about pension but you can continue to pay pension credits to the uk system to allow you to claim this upon retirement age, Anyway the spanish office will satmp the forms amd you then take them to the local medical clinic where you will recieve your sip card for use when using medical services in spain.

Hope this helps, if not then simply contact the tax office or social security office where you are regsitered for your benifits (number should be on any correspondance) and talk to them about it.

  7. If you mean State Retirement Oension, then yes,it is payable while you live is Spain.  However, it will be frozen at that rate and won't be increased every April (unless the rules have changed but please check with The Pension Service)

  8. I think that you may be allowed job seekers allowance for a little while if you are settling in Spain.... but not sure, so ask your local job centre.
