The Argentine international has claimed that his side are aiming to achieve victory in each and every fixture that they come across in the upcoming season.
Real Madrid’s Angel di Maria has sounded a warning for each and every side which may encounter Los Blancos in the 2012/2013 campaign.
According to the attacking midfielder, the Spanish giants are expecting to triumph in all competitions including the Spanish La Liga, the UEFA Champions League and the Copa del Rey. Di Maria exclaimed that he also hopes that this is not the only season in
which Madrid achieve success at this level.
The winger went on to claim that he is confident that Los Merengues will be able to defeat their fierce rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, in the Spanish Supercup. The upcoming Supercopa de Espana fixture will bring together the two top teams on the Iberian Peninsula. The
heavily anticipated Cup final will see Barca and Madrid lock horns in the initial phases of the season.
Jose Mourinho’s men enjoyed a spectacular campaign in the recently passed season as they managed to secure their 32nd Spanish La Liga title. The silverware in the Spanish Primera came after a break of 3 years, which were completely and undisputedly
dominated by La Blaugrana.
However, after managing to bring Azulgrana’s supremacy to an end, the Whites have experts convinced that they can go and achieve a great deal in the upcoming season as well. Interestingly, the Spanish capital-based outfit have also been quite impressive
in their pre-season tour as well.
While talking to reporters, Di Maria was quoted as saying:
"Will this be our year in the Champions League? I hope so, but let's hope that it's not only the year we win the Champions League. Right from the start we're conscious that we're out to win everything and that we're going to fight to win all the titles,
which is what Real Madrid must do year after year. Last year we faced them on various occasions and we know that we have all the chances in the world to beat them.”
"In addition, it's all going to happen in our first match back at the Santiago Bernabeu, and that's very important for us."
Madrid will play their first La Liga game on 18th August, as they take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 right at the start of the season.
