Chelsea’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707 for the game against Juventus.
The Spanish international has once again gone on to hit a rough patch in his goal scoring form, and he has managed to score just one goal in six weeks. At the same time, he went on to have a rather disappointing game this past weekend, when Chelsea suffered
a very shock defeat to West Brom, which saw them lose that match by two goals one.
Based on the way the forward has been playing, and with him suffering a rather massive dip in form, he has started to become a massive concern for the manager.
Di Matteo has now gone on to admit that he needs to consider all his options before deciding on what team to play in the future, since if one player isn’t performing, there are others who should be given a chance.
When talking about his plans, and talking about just how Torres has been playing, the Blues Italian manager is reported to have said: "We will have to assess the whole team and see how everybody is, and how they have recovered"
"But if I believe it is the right thing to do for the team, then yeah, I will leave him out.”
"I thought when we moved Daniel [Sturridge] up there he looked a danger [against West Brom]. He had a very good chance saved by the keeper and another put wide.”
"He was always a threat to the defence - we need to score goals."
At the moment, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are set to take on Juventus in their upcoming Champions League game. Given how competitive their group is, with only one point separating the top three teams, the manager won’t be looking to take any chances in the upcoming game.
Many feel Di Matteo will have no option but to opt to start with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 in the upcoming game. With Torres having been given plenty of chances to prove his worth, it seems like it’s only fair for him to start off the bench for the time being, till
he starts picking his form up once again.
