Chelsea’s manager, Roberto Di Matteo believes that his side are ready for the upcoming season, following the conclusion of their North American, pre season tour.
The Blues went on to win their only game of the pre season against the Seattle Sounders, following defeats to the MLs All Stars and AC Milan.
However, despite those losses, Di Matteo feels that his team have done all that is needed to go into the coming season on a high and produce some decent results.
"I think this week has been a good week of training and settling down really, coming back to Cobham and getting rid of the jet lag," Di Matteo told the club's official website.

"It's been a week of hard work. It takes a few days of everybody to get over it, we all struggled at first but we have recovered well.”

"The training facilities in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 were very good, excellent.”

"We moved around a lot though, especially in the second week, and integration of players coming back on different dates and trying to match them up with players who had a different fitness level, then the games, was a big challenge for everybody - the players and staff - but we are very pleased we came back without any injuries.”

Last season, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 went on to win the Champions League for the very first time in the club’s history. This time around, the team is going to be looking to follow up on their success and win at least one trophy this coming season.
They have gone on to bring in a host of new faces to the team, who could prove to be the difference makers for the club, as they look to help head the team in a new direction.
Nonetheless, what is going to be interesting, is to see whether http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo can follow up on the success that he had with the team last season and help them win another trophy or two.
We will now have to wait till the end of the season to see just how the manager ends up performing with the team.
