The Zebrette are currently placed third in the Serie A points table, two points ahead of the fourth-placed Lazio. While a draw or a win in their last league fixture will confirm their inclusion in the Europe’s elite tournament,
a defeat can render them susceptible to the capital club.
The Bianconeri will travel to Sicily to play against Catania, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan in their last match of the season.
The Zebrette striker insisted that the team needs to keep their focus on the crucial point needed to retain the third position in the league. The aggressor warned that Catania are a stout opposition, who have done considerably
well in the league, and added that the players cannot even think of celebrating before the crucial game.
While talking to the press, the 34-year-old sated:
“For us there is still a point needed before we can celebrate and we need to get it against Catania, a team that is strong and so far has done well this season.”
Di Natale went on to state that consecutive UEFA Champions League qualification will be a great achievement for the club. However, he warned that they cannot afford to count their chicken before they are hatched.
The Bianconeri ace stated that Udinese’s motivation and desire to win the next game will be much more than that of Catania, and insisted that the fact will count as an advantage for the Little Zebras.
The former Empoli forward insisted that if they manage to qualify for the European championship once again, the occasion will be celebrated throughout Udine.
“Securing qualification to the Champions League for the second consecutive season would be nice, but the games are not over yet. We have something more than the Sicilians in terms of motivation and we need to show it on the field.
It would be nice to qualify for the Champions League again and throughout Udine it would be a significant achievement.”
The Bianconeri captain went on to congratulate Juventus on their Scudetto triumph, and insisted that it is a huge achievement to snatch the Serie A crown from a team like AC Milan.
