Di Suo sends Tatjana Bibik packing in Women’s Singles qualifying round at China Open 2012
China’s Di Suo started her campaign in an amazing fashion as she showed impressive skills on court and toppled Russia’s Tatjana Bibik in Women’s Singles qualifying round at the Li Ning China Open 2012 at Shanghai, China, on Tuesday, November 13.
The in-form Suo cheered her home fans by putting up strong show of top class badminton and she did not face any problem in crushing her Russian rival in a dominating manner by taking just 31 minutes of the court time.
Chinese lady was absolutely impressive on court as she took the bird early and easily placed her shots in right areas which enabled her to end up the battle in straight games with a huge margin on the board.
In the meanwhile, Tatjana was helpless against the power play of her local challenger as she could not put match the pace of rallies and eventually crashed out in the qualifying round without showing a great performance.
Suo showed a wonderful aggression on court from the initial points of first game by building a remarkable pressure on her opponent.
The tempo of the rallies was quite fast in first game and Suo impressed local crowd with her incredible skills.
Until the end of first part of opening game, the in-form Suo attained a strong position on board by setting up a sufficient gap.
The battle proceeded in the same fashion after the mid-game interval as Suo did not lose her focus in the arena.
It was an uninterrupted ride for the in-form Suo who did not face any considerable fight from her opponent and won the first game with a staggering 21-12 difference on the board.
Things were not much different in the second set of this entertaining contest as Suo played in the similar attacking fashion.
The perfectly executed smashes and wonderful net play kept Suo ahead of her challenger all the way until the one-minute interval in second game.
Suo was quick and positive in the arena in the ending points of second set and won the second set with a reasonable margin of 21-7.
The in-form Suo emerged as the winner in this Women’s Singles qualifying round match in straight sets with a dominating margin of 21-12 and 21-7.
