It's fast food usually under eight dollars, so I would say no

But technically they're waiting on you, so I'm confused

Honestly, I'm too embarressed to ask anyone I know.

  1. It doesn't matter the price of the food-it's the service provided. Don't be cheap. Give them a dollar or two. They're on roller skates..they do a good job...they don't spit in your food..

  2. Yes, I give a small tip at Sonic Drive-In.

  3. I used to tip them like a dollar every time, but then had a friend tell me they make the same as the cooks do!  And they don't get tips.  So I don't tip there anymore, unless I'm just feeling really generous that day lol

  4. I have a friend who works there and they do not get as much as a cook and they depend on tips to help them make ends meat but they do not expect you to tip if you use the drive thru. Of course sonic is a franchise and it is the owners discreation as to how much they pay the waitresses.

  5. Yes, they make very little money. The majority of their earnings are supposed to come from tips.

  6. I always tip sometimes you never no they  might need that little change for some gas to get work or some diapers or milk for there baby and that helps out a lot especially since they have to wait on a pay check they're already getting payed minimum wage witch y'all know that these days in time cant got to far so me personally I always tip and you should to tip something it don't have to be a lot

  7. I honestly don't. Some may consider it to be rude. But I don't see the sense in tipping them. Although I also sadly admit that I like the new credit/debit card feature so you don't have to do the akward limbo of tipping them.

  8. Me either i dont tip!

  9. sometimes...a few cents here and there

  10. To quote Mr. Pink from the movie Reservoir Dogs:

Nice Guy Eddie: C'mon, throw in a buck!

    Mr. Pink: Uh-uh, I don't tip.

Nice Guy Eddie: You don't tip?

Mr. Pink: Nah, I don't believe in it.

Nice Guy Eddie: You don't believe in tipping?

Mr. Blue: You know what these chicks make? They make $h*t.

Mr. Pink: Don't give me that. She don't make enough money that she can quit.

Nice Guy Eddie: I don't even know a f-n j who'd have the ba115 to say that. Let me get this straight: you don't ever tip?

Mr. Pink: I don't tip because society says I have to. All right, if someone deserves a tip, if they really put forth an effort, I'll give them something a little something extra. But this tipping automatically, it's for the birds. As far as I'm concerned, they're just doing their job.

Mr. Blue: Hey, our girl was nice.

Mr. Pink: She was okay. She wasn't anything special.

Mr. Blue: What's special? Take you in the back and s*** your ****?

Nice Guy Eddie: I'd go over twelve percent for that.

  11. I do.

  12. I usually give them a dollar or two. Not as much as a restaurant server since they do make more than 2.13 an hour but generally they are friendly and bring your food/beverages out to you in a friendly, fast-paced manner. So gratuity is always accepted.
