Diagnosing Fibroids?

Question

I had an internal scan a couple of weeks ago on my pelvic area following other symptoms.

I have now been asked to go and see my Doctor as my results are back.

I was wondering how a radiographer who does the scan can tell if a tumour is fibroids or if it is cancerous?

Ultrasound for many conditions, fibroids, testicular lesions, ovarian cysts, most gall bladder conditions etc. is definitively diagnostic.
