I want to go to school to become an ultrasound technician. Sanford Brown has a school near me and I was looking into the program. It is 18 months full time. I was just wondering if anyone knew if you could take only some of the classes and be done in a longer amount of time. I just had a baby and Im working full time so I need to take things slowly.

  1. I am not sure about it being part time. But just to let you know it is a very competitive field. I was going to go into DMS but changed because so many people went into it a while ago and now jobs in the field are scarce. Also, there might be a certain GPA required to stay or get into the program. I would search around for other careers, unless of course it is something that you REALLY want to do!

    Good Luck!

  2. You would need tot alk to someone from the program about that. From what I understand, most radiology related programs can be very intensivell time programs. You may want to wait or consider a more flexible program if you cannot serseriously limitur time at work and get help with child care.
