Dial BB Connection keeps changingitself from Broadband to Dial-Up and I don't know why?

I'm using the DialBB thing from AOL which I set up myself following instructions from AOL. It worked perfectly for months however, a few days ago it started trying to connect via Dial Up instead of Broadband, and the logo changed from the Earth to Phone in Network Connections. I deleted the connection and set it up again and it wroked fine, until I rebooted my pc, and next I signed on, it tried to connect via dial up. This now happens every time, so in order to get online, every time I turn my pc on I need to recreate the DialBB set up and it';s causing my parents to think I've screwed the pc up, even though I have done nothing to it. Anyone know what's going on?

have you ran a scan for spyware and viruses.  they will do just that. there is a few that change your settings to dial  so they can call a 1-900 number and you will get a high phone bill. make sure theres no phone line hooked to your computer. and run a few scanners.
