My internet speed seems to be running normal, but when I go to open Explorer it just says 'internet explorer cannot display this webpage'.

Last night I found that its only receiving 600 bytes when its actually sending 48 Kilobytes.

What should I do

Replace my modem

Defrag my computer

Or Reboot my PC

Cheers

(Its impossible to get broadband in Narracan, so please dont advise me to)

  1. Hey man if no one gives you a real good answer can you give me best.

i'd try all 3 to see if one works.

    cheers mate

  2. Error usually indicates you are not connected to the web at that time ..... Could you have a program that might be set to disconnect from the web after it is done (like an AV or anti spy program that runs in the background or is set to disconnect you from the web once it checks for updates)??

A reboot of the system would of course get you connected to the web again........ at least until that program checks for updates again...
