Dialling Code for French Mobile Number?

I need to call my friend in France (im in the UK). I was wondering what code i need to put in front of the number e.g. +44 (-0)776.... for the UK.

00 = international dialing

33 = code for France

6 = code for French cell phone

Then your friend's 8-digit number.

Indeed you need to dial 0033 then the number of the mobile without the 0 (all french mobile numbers start with 06) ie:

0033 6 54 16 31 22

0033 then a 6 then the number, forget about the 0 before the first six! I just txtd my friend in France using thiscode to check for you and it worked! :]
