Dialling to Argentina?

Hi I am living in the uk, and I want to call my girlfriend in Beunos Aires......I am dialling the 0054....and....11 for Beunos Aires followed by her number, but all I keep getting is, sorry this number has not been recognised.

Her mobile is 100% the right number, so can I have suggetions please

Does her cell # look something like this x*x-x*x-xxxx with 10 numbers?

Drop the 11 maybe as the 11 signifies area code but her cell already has the first 3 digits with her cell provider.

If that does not work, ask for her provider and go to their website.
