Question:

Diamond Confetti Question for Wedding?

I am going to use diamond confetti to spread on the tables at my wedding. I am trying to figure out how many 1/3 or 1 carat diamond confetti's you would need to cover around 20 tables or so. Does anyone have an idea? These tables would seat about 8 people.

  1. I'm not quite sure how much you'll need, but why don't you use Swavorski crystals instead? They come in small packets and can be purchased from pretty much any craft store. They'd save you a lot of money and you can probably buy them in bulk and sprinkle them on your tables freely without worrying how much you'll have left. You can also have your wedding florist incorporate the crystals into your bouquets by having them stick them to the petals of the flowers. Its quite beautiful. Good luck!

  2. A large handfull will do around two or three tables, depending on how dense you want it to be. If you want it just in the centre, perhaps surrounding some flowers etc, then a large handfull will easily be enough for four tables, maybe five.

    Hope this helps!

  3. I would think you would need quite a bit for that many tables. It depends on if you are doing the whole table or just the center. Probably about a one lb bag per table.

Are you having kids at your wedding? We decided against using diamond confetti on our tables because we were afraid that they would be a choke hazard for kids. They may think it is candy.

  4. swavorski crys but its not cheap i got some but not worth it money but its really nice

on the above site you can get diamond confetti in bags of 2000 for 9.99-12.99 depending on the size of the diamond confetti.  they range between the 1/3 and 4 carat sizes.

I don't know how much you'll need per table, but at lest with 2000 stones you can do a lot, it just depends on how much sparkle you want!

    Good luck!

BTW: to the other poster who said they would expensive....they aren't real diamonds, they're acrylic with some sparkle.....but the swarvoski is a good idea too, but you can't beat 2000 stones for $9.99
