Diamond table?

Question

do you feel an advantage going from a diamond table to "say" a valley table...speed? banks? i only played on a diamond once but i want to buy one but some of the tables i will play on will not be diamonds..so i guess would it be wise to stay with what everyone plays on or go to a better table..thanks
