  1. I would say disrespectful

  2. Heaven's forbid. I do not think she will overstep that boundary. Camilla is a very smart, intelligent women. We do not give her enough credit. She and Charles stood away from the Princes Diana's concert that her two young son's put up. She is wise beyond her years. That's why she kept poor , rottweiler Charley in leaps all these years. Better be betted as not at all. HE HE!!

  3. I would have thought it might have, at the very least, been diplomatic if Camilla didn't attend. However, I also read that friends from Diana's own circle haven't been invited, so I guess the Royal Family have come up with their own criteria for the service, which doesn't necessarily put what Diana would have wished at the forefront of things.

PS - I see that Camilla has now decided not to go!  Maybe she reads Y/A!!!

  4. I saw this on the news too - I cannot believe it.  I feel like e mailing Buckingham Palace and giving my opinion to them.  Surprised there are no other answers to this yet.  Come on everyone, we don't want that evil ***** there do we?  Totally disrespectful and insensitive.

  5. I know she and Charles are married now, but no, she should have the good grace to stay away. Charles commited adultery with this woman when he was married to Diana, and now he thinks it's OK to take her to Diana's memorial service? It's wrong.

  6. Camilla, should never be at the service for Diana, its a boody disgrace, and i bet most brits agree on this one !!!

  7. The ultimate decision is up to Princes William and Harry. If they have invited her, it's their decision and nobody else's business.

  8. Camilla was a friend of Diana for decades.  She introduced her to Charles.  (I'm the one he's shagging, but we need an official brood mare to produce an heir)  It's only after Diana found she couldn't change the arrangement that she went bonkers and the two of them fell out.  It's a shame Charles didn't marry Camilla in the first place and keep the loony Churchills out of the royal blood line.

  9. I'm not sure what my opinion is on the matter, but in the news yesterday it was said that a lady in Brighton had written to Camilla voicing her disgust at her attending the service. A representative of Camilla actually replied to this member of the public, detailing that she (Camilla) had been invited by William and Harry, and therefore I suppose: justified.

William and Harry must be happy with this arrangement, so I suppose we should be too, or atleast respect their wishes.

  10. Life is complicated.

If an individual wishes to attend a memorial service then they should attend. When attending such an intimate and personal service evryone attending will do it for differing reasons and under differing circumstances. Each reason personal to them. Individuals must not concern themselves with the issues and reasons of others.

Memories are personal and each one should be respected.

The people who are disgusted and make similar comment are missing the whole point.

  11. Damned if she does go and damned if she doesn't go, will never be able to suit everybody, but Charles will insist she goes whatever she really wants to do.
