Diaper cake question....Help!?

I am making a diaper cake for a gift for my aunts baby shower. This is my first time. when you roll the diapers, how do you get them to stay? Rubber bands, tape? Then after you get enough rolled, you put them together nicely and a ribbon around the bunch? i am trying to make a 3 layer cake, so any instructions would be very helpful!

For your first time, I think it is easier for you to roll the diapers. you can get them to stay using rubber band.

Don't use tape if you are not sure that it is baby safe.

Buy a big rubber band to hold everything together when you are done assembling each layer.

I'll suggest you to use high quality ribbon to make sure that the diaper cake looks presentable.

i use rubber bands...the ribbon covers them up!!  then you put them in a nice round even layer...put ribbon around the entire layer...make a smaller layer...and then a smaller!  and put a topper on for decoration!!
