Question:

Diaper recommendation please?

My daughter has recently outgrown her size 5 Kirkland diapers & they don't make 6 in the Kirkland brand. I've tried the Target generics & Huggies, but both of these leaked. I'm hoping that one of you experienced mom's can recommend a good replacement for the Kirkland brand because we had no problems with them whatsoever. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

  1. Sam's has great, cheap diapers. They are just like Pampers, but a lot cheaper! I could swear that Pampers is making Sam's brand diapers. They have velcro straps and made of same material as Pampers. You just have to have a membership there...

  2. Pampers cruisers are the best on the market, but also the most expensive. The closest to have the same quality and are cheaper are luvs.

  3. Parents Choice is what I buy...not in 6 cause my oldest is out of diapers ands my youngest is only in size 3(barely) but they make size 6 in that brand and those diapers hold a lot for those lengthy trips out and what not. Price efficient too. I can get a BOX of diapers(around 114 ct) and only pay $12 for them.

  4. my son is a big boy and i have been using good nites brand

  5. Luv's are a little cheap and they don't leak.

  6. Parent's Choice is my pick for an every day diaper. It is the least expensive option offered at Walmart, and cost tends to be a pretty big factor with the products I buy. The diaper is not low-quality because it is inexpensive. It is, however, purely functional. It has a soft feel, without a hint of plastic. It has the same stretchy tabs as other more expensive diapers, with no tape that can damage baby's skin. The diaper is trim and not bulky. These diapers cost approximately $.14 each.

  7. I have tried most of the off brands and store brands as well as white cloud with no luck what so ever, of course different babies, different bodies, kinda like the difference between thongs and briefs.  Luvs have worked great for us.  I tried them when he was in 2 without the stretch and they didn't have the right leak protection, however I tried again in 4 with the bear hug stretch and they have been perfect, not a single leak even after a full nights sleep and a 10 pound diaper.  Pampers were great, but the price seems to keep going up and box size seems to be going down, luvs has remained the same economic value in this impending recession as it was long before.  Try buying a small pack of whatever you try, or trade around with other mommies, that way your not sinking a lot into a value box just to find they don't work.  If my son was in the bigger sizes I would gladly send you a couple of diapers to try, I'm sure other moms would be more than willing to help you find the right fit.

  8. Do you have an Aldi's near you?  If so, their brand "nanny's"  has been great for us.

  9. I highly recommend the Pamper Cruisers. They are very absorbent and are great for toddlers on the go. We have yet to have leakage. In fact, one day our DS was anxious to get in our pool, rather than run upstairs to get his little swimmers, I put him in his floaty with the Pamper Cruisers on. The tabs never released and that diaper was super heavy becuase it absorbed soooo much "liquid". I had to take it off of course and put his little swimmers on so he could enjoy himself, but the diaper proved to be strong and absorbent. Go with Pampers. Plus and added bonus is that every pack you buy pays for one vaccination for a child in a developing country.

  10. Try cloth diapers! I put my son in cloth diapers and he potty learned at 2. Try jilliansdrawers.com or diaperswappers.com

  11. The White Cloud diapers that they sell in Wal-Mart are the next best to the Costco ones for value.

  12. My granddaughter is in size 6 pampers baby dry.... and they seem to work pretty well.. and for a box there like 20 dollars and they last my granddaughter more then a week

  13. I hate the diapers of today. They are nothing like they were years ago. I have problems with diapers leaking too. I've found that Huggies worked best, although they leak too. I'll be anxious to see what others suggest too.
