i have been experiencing diarrhea's for a couple of days now. First I thought it was because I increased the fruits and veggies in my diet, but now I don't think that's it. Also I have been feeling some nausea to the point I almost vomit, but not really. Today I woke up to my stomach sounds with gurgling every time I breath! What is wrong :( Also I have had some gas, not too much but more than usual for me.

  1. Maybe you were right: if you exceeded your fructose tolerance threshold, it is possible that fruits/veggies were the cause of diarrhea, gurgling and gas, which are all typical symptoms of FRUCTOSE MALABSORPTION.

Exclude all fruits, including all fruit products, also exclude wheat and onions for a couple of days. Check labels for High Fructose Corn Syrup. Don't eat/drink "low-calorie" foods/drinks with sorbitol (labels may say: polyols), and avoid sugar free chewing gum or sweets (contain sorbitol, xylitol, maltitol...) If you have fructose malabsorption, symptoms should dissappear in this time.

  2. I hate it when this happens. I get it a few times a year. It's nothing special, really. It's just an ordinary stomach flu.

You should try holding off of most foods and slowly introducing soups and electrolytes into your diet as you get better though. Maybe have some tums and pepto bismol too.
