i read in an article that they have similar contracts. would the trade be beneficial for both teams? as a suns fan i would love for phx to finally get solid true point guard to back up nash, and diaw's flexibility could also be a big help for chicago, and would settle their quiery on who would be their lead PG. what do you guys think?

  1. ya its a good trade it give suns a pg when nash retires

  2. Charles,

Works for the Suns, doesn't work for the Bulls they can get more for Hinrich.  Also don't know that Kirk wants to go somewhere and be a backup- he'd be a $10million/yr backup.

I've seen Diaw's name mentioned in just about every Phoenix trade rumor- and the bottom line is i think Phoenix fans are over-estimating his value.

I find the deal quite one-sided and i think the Bulls can get more for Kirk.  Also they seem to be favoring keeping Kirk- maybe playing him alongside Rose- or keeping him there in case Rose is a bust- and trying to trade away Ben Gordon (their version of Leandro Barbosa away).

  3. The Bulls can get a much better player for Hinrich

  4. I do like the trade, I would be sad to see Diaw leave though. I've always liked him and despite what everyone else says I think he was good for PHX. But who knows Hinrich could be just what the Suns are looking for and could be our missing piece to successfully back up Nash.

  5. Great trade for the Bulls! Hinrich is a turnover machine.

  6. i think that would b ok. but i would much rather see us trade raja bell for somebody. i mean i love his attitude and everything i just dont think he did too much for us last season. we could trade him, and like 1 or 2 of our bench players we never see and some money and try to get a better SG. Think about it hour starting 5 would be all allstars

    PG-Nash

SG-? could b someone like Wade

    C-Shaq

    PF-Amare

    SF-Hill

  7. I like that idea.

  8. now help really to the bulls because they get a sf/pf and the bulls already got good ones like luol deng if he resigns snd andres nocioni. they got good pf too like gooden and noah

  9. good trade for chicago, not for the suns

  10. Oh God no. Hinrich is a weak player and a poor passer. His high basketball IQ and good jumpshot just isn't enough to match up with the likes of Steve, Deron, Baron, CP3 etc.

As a Suns fan, I'm happy that Diaw hasn't left. We will definitely need his versatility should we get into a pinch. Bear in mind he is a subtle, yet very high contributor to the Suns' offensive power.

  11. I think it would be an excellent trade, but it would only benefit the Suns.  Yes the suns do need a true back up PG since the are already overloaded on forwards.  The bulls also have lots of forwards but since they never have a winning season the always usually get a top guard from the draft
