The PSV Eindhoven boss reveals that his side is anxious to kick-off the 2012/13 season, and insists that his side will only be satisfied with their performance if they end up as the Dutch champions.
PSV Eindhoven head coach, d**k Advocaat, has stressed that his side will not settle for anything else than the Eredivisie title in the upcoming season, while revealing that his troops are eager to start the 2012/13 campaign.
The Dutchman, who took the reins of the Boeren last month, has confessed that PSV’s squad is better than last term, while admitting that his side’s good pre-season friendly games have boosted his confidence.
“We are anxious to get going. It’s time to be finally crowned champions. We have had a very good pre-season, but we haven’t won anything yet. We're going to have an even better squad than we did last year in the Eredivisie. Winning
the title is the only thing that counts”, Advocaat was quoted as saying to the club’s official website.

The Boeren will lock horns against Ajax Amsterdam, who were crowned Dutch Champions at the end of the 2011/12 season, in the Johan Cruijff Schaal game at Amsterdam Arena on Sunday, August 5.
Advocaat has expressed confidence that his side can get their hands on their first piece of silverware of the season, though, he has admitted that it will not be an easy task to claim victory against the reigning Eredivisie champions.
“We will meet Ajax in the Johan Cruyff Shield on Sunday and that gives us an opportunity to win our first trophy of the season”, the former Russian boss concluded.
The PSV boss would be hoping that his side begin the new campaign on a high by winning the Johan Cruyff Shield.
