Did Achilles really exist?

Do some say he existed?

I believe that Achilles did exist. I am not saying that I have proof or anything like that, because no one does that we know of. Even though stories are often exgagerated, they do have an origin. It wouldn't make any sense if people just invented this whole thing from no where.
