  1. Here's a few more accomplishment from Algore

He helped Henry Ford create the mass production process.

Al invented the Hide a Bed..trouble is, he can't find it.

Al invented the Jarvic heart, but was too humble to name it after himself.

Al speaks 11 languages, English in not one of them.

This man is a true American....Bahahahahaha.

  2. I dont know what he's going to come up with next. Maybe he's the guy who invented "press one for English".

  3. Lying about global warming. I love this question. HAHA

  4. He got it because people smarter than you determined that what he has done is useful.

By the way, he never said he invented the internet.  He coined the phrase "information super highway"

Do some research instead of spreading rumor...

  5. there is something obviously a little off about Gore and his philosophy of life--he is one of the legion of people who like to take credit for everything around them....and while there is some truth to the global warming issue, there is at least a little bit of a flaw in the  logic and sense in the way Gore has presented it.

  6. Al Gore, in a speech, claimed  to have been interested in high speed networking  way back in 1977 (see source below). The guy must be a F-ing genius! I really  believe this is all revisionist history. I'm about the same age as he is and we all had a touch of what was to become the Internet back then. He just revises everything to make himself seem more important than he really was. Probably because he became VP and put his name on some bills during the Clinton Administration he has to go back and claim responsibility for all the inter net's success than he really deserves. Let's face it his phrase "the information superhighway" is obsolete.

Many of the scientists that are responsible for the web and the Internet did not get rich or famous. I refer you to a great documentary on tape: "Nerds 2.0.1: A Brief History of the Internet" (1998) narrated by Robert X Cringely. I don't believe Al Gore is mentioned once in the entire 3 hours.

  7. I guess he had the cause de jour. No peace involved. Just half truths, and a popular left wing cause.
