  1. I am not disappointed, she was just extremely nervous and made mistakes.  She's human and the Olympics is at a high international level, her nervousness and mistakes are completely understandable.  It wasn't her day but she and the rest of Team USA still did an excellent job winning the silver.

  2. bad luck and nerves i think. she seems like an amazing gymnast

  3. It's not bad luck when you fall ; it's a bad day. It was disappointing that her bad day happened to be at the Olympics, but I'm not disappointed in her (and who am I to be disappointed, honestly!), because she didn't want to mess up and she felt so bad about it.

She's proven for the last few years that she deserves to be on Team USA, particularly at Worlds 2007 and at Olympic Trials. She'll probably hate herself for what happened, but she just had a bad day. Shawn Johnson and Nastia Liukin have had trouble too, only it wasn't at the Olympics. Bad timing, but it's not like she could have chosen.

  4. Both. She had bad luck in having to wait so long to get on the balance beam (due to judges figueriong out China's score).  And disapointed me with her lack of concentration in the floor exercise immediately after.

  5. She probably nails her events 9 times out of 10, just bad luck.

The lingering wait before she hit the balance beam didn't do her any good either, especially with the most difficult mount of the beam there was.

  6. bad luck

  7. Combination of both.

  8. In no way, shape, or form did she dissapoint me.... it was all about the

  9. I feel bad for her.
