Now, my personal opinion, she should've won a medal on the gymnastics vault. In fact she should've worn gold. Her competitors really were not up to the challenge, the way most of them fell out of bounds or on their knees. At least she land the German woman came close, at least a silver.

  1. alicia is one of my favorite athletes. and yes, I think she got robbed. however, I wouldn't go so far as to say that she should have gotten gold. I'd say bronze. I think the german should have gotten gold. the chinese girl that landed on her knees shouldn't have made it, in my opinion.

  2. Wow. Stop crying already.

I'd like to s***w her sometime.

  3. She should have won a bronze since her A score (difficulty) was lower  than Cheng but Cheng should have received a lower  B score as not enough was taken off of Cheng Fei for the several critical errors she made..so Alicia's total score should have been slightly higher to give her the bronze.  However, Oksana and Hong's A scores were so much higher than Alcia's that their lower B scores did not make their total scores lower than Alicia's total score.. Even Bela Karoyli agrees the first two should have been scored higher than Alicia, but the Bronze should have been hers.

  4. Yes, she got screwed as has the whole U.S. gymnasitc team both men and women. First I want to address the issue of how age does give advantages in gymnastics. On the floor exercise, the underage of several of the Chinese girls means they are much smaller than their counterparts from other countries. When they do a tumbling pass on the floor they do not need near the space (extra length) as someone of average size therefore the risk of them stepping out of bounds is very minimal. This is a huge advantage considering that even if they were all 16 years old + that people of Oriental descent are generally speaking much smaller than people of European descent. Second, the U.S.A. athletes in particular are being discrimiated agaisnt becasue of our involvement in Iraq and the situation being so unpopular in with other countries....it is sad to see that hatred for the U.S.A. is being carried over to the atheletes (by unfair scores) while the human right atrocities committed by China are completely overlooked. Third, China has the home field advantage and yes they are getting higher scores than they actually deserve. They cannot take away a definitve "race or game result" so all the inaccurate scoring is in subjective scoring events. Fourth, the reason there is a minimum age of 16 is due to fiar play. Communist countries and China in particular select and begin training their athletes between the ages of 3 and 5. All they do is eat, train, study and sleep. Most do not live with family and are basically wards of the communist state. In all other countires, athletes usually do not begin serious training until an older age and then it is not financed by the government. So if their was not a minimum age requirement, as you can see, it is immensly unfair. Also, this minimum age requirement was established to protect the health and well being of children.

  5. Well, a little. She should've gotten bronze. But Nastia Luikin was the one who really got screwed over. SHE should've gotten gold. But hey, it's over now and nothing can be done about it.

  6. i totally agree with you dude

  7. oh yeah. that chinesse girl who fell on her kness got first place

  8. Yeah, she was good, but her mistakes :(

  9. not yet, I have a date in 3 hours to s***w her.

then she'll get screwed ALL over

  10. I'm not a judge so I dont know the specific numbers, but from what I know, Cheng Fei got an AMAZING score for the first vault which balanced out her complete fail of a second one. I guess the numbers worked out so that Cheng Fei got 3rd, but for falling off, I agree, she probably shouldve had a bigger deduction.

  11. what do you know, north korea, germany and china work together to s***w a american girl, how sad are americans.

  12. I think she should have ATLEAST got bronze. Cheing fue(sp?) got a way higher score than she should have. I mean she like completely fell! Totally not fair. Alicia got screwed over.

  13. Most definatley, agreed!

  14. you can't cry about these things. if she was good enough to win she would have won. she made a few mistakes and the difficulty degree wasn't high as some of the others, so she lost, End of story.

  15. Get over it, there is nothing that can be done about it now.  It's not the Chinese athletes fault that they get higher results than they deserve.
