nope not international neways.. highest he ever played was 1st XV school boys... he did learn alot about rugby from his 1st coaching stint at Auckland grammar under the tutalage of John Grahme where he coached Nicky Allen, Grant Fox and cricket legend Martin Crowe..

Graham Henry & John Hart are the only 2 All Black coaches to have never been All Blacks themselves........

Don't think Henry played rep rugby at any significant level ..He was a very good cricketer though and played for both Canterbury and Otago at rep level in the top domestic  Plunket Shield comp ..  He was a pretty handy Wicket Keeper .. Played Rep Cricket  for the Plunket Sheild  for several seasons from 1965 through until 1968
