?  Snow skiing is an individual effort in the Alpine events. Several Americans have won Olympic Gold medals in the Winter Games in the past.  Billy Kidd, Debra Armstrong, Mahre. Also many other silver and gold medalists over the years. The Freestyle events and snowboard competition have also many top competitors.  The Winter Olympics will be in 2010 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.  Stay tuned.

JIm W is right we have won several skiing Gold's but not in cross-country. We still suck at that.
