Did Anyone Notice How Randy Orton Was Getting Cheered?

I noticed.  He's one of the best characters they have in the WWE, heel or face, and heaven knows the WWE needs more wrestlers with good mic skills like Orton.  Like him or not, he's got a decent character and knows how to play the crowd.

whether you hate him or love him, have to admit, raw was at loss without him. i think the fans know that.

i think he has pontential to be great whether he is a face or a heel. just like the rock.

also, it was his home town.

Yeah because he was a heel [at first seemed like a face] calling out the flaws in other heels. Also it was his home town, so most likely the home town wrestler will get pops here and there depending on their alignment [face or heel].

He got booed when he came out.  But he cut a promo that hit home to most people.  They agreed with his assessments of the current RAW Champions and cheered him for that.  I do not like Randy Orton, but I agree with his observations on the current RAW Champions.  If I was in that audience, I would have cheered him, too.

Despite portraying despicable heels, the guys are human and just like the rest of us, want to be liked and applauded once in a while.  Randy did a nice job on his promo, and the crowd appreciated it.
