  1. Well, no, but the guy probably knew more about extraterrestrials then anyone else in the world. He was a genius and he will be missed.

For the record, an extra-terrestrial is a life form that does not live on earth. An alien is a life form visiting earth. If we visit another planet and there are people living there, then we would be the aliens, they would be extra-terrestrials to us.

He was hoping we would find evidence that life existed on other planets or moons.

The story "2001", which points to Europa, is probably a great place to start looking, however, we have not sent probes capable of that kind of detailed exploration to Jupiters moons.

  2. No but he did see into the future.

  3. Dout it very much, but maybe in the afterlife...

  4. He didnt need to see any evidence , he already new .

  5. Unfortunately  No to all three wishes, however he did get more of his visions of the future right than he got wrong, and I don't know of anyone else brave enough to stick his neck out and predict the way that he did

    Arthur C Clarke R.I.P. wherever.

  6. no.

  7. I don't know but he believed they were out there.  Where ever he is now I hope he is happy.  He is/was one of the most under rate  geniuses of our times,  so sad.  I hope the space elevator get built someday.  He sure got the geosynchronous satellite right.

  8. Looks like he didn't see any of those, sadly.

  9. Sadly, no on all 3 counts.

  10. 0 for 3 it seems.  Wishes don't always come true.

  11. Neither Clarke, nor anyone else that I'm aware of, has seen any evidence of extra-terrestrial life.
