Not electrifying speaker as many other things.

Is he an asset or liability?

  1. He should have asked Hilary

  2. I think he is a wash.

The guy is the ultimate Washington insider, this is not the guy I would have picked, were I the candidate of change.

There is a lot of resentment amongst woman over the treatment of Hillary Clinton, right or wrong they thought she should have been the candidate.

Obama passed over some qualified governors, who unlike Obama and Biden, have actually run governments.

Biden is an irritating speaker.  Even when he makes sense, he's not enjoyable to listen to.

I still hold that Kathleen Sebelius was the better choice.

On the other side I think Biden does nothing to detract from the campaign.

  3. Yes.  He picked a loose cannon.  It's so obvious.  If you watched 60 minutes last night, the interview they had, this was all obvious again when Joseph Biden interrupted Obama and couldn't let him speak.  You should have seen how Obama was angry.

Is this how angry he'll get with Al Queda and Palestinians?

  4. it doesnt matter anyways, obama is black

  5. No, he didn't.  All candidates for the presidency choose running mates for their perceived ability to bring in the most voters.  Obama looked at where he thought he needed help and chose Biden.

Unfortunately, for him, it also exposed the fact that their platform amounts to nothing more than, "more of the same."

  6. Not as much of a liability as Palin is to McCain.

  7. Well, since Barack Obama supposedely has NO EXPERIENCE according to many, not me included, I think it was wise he chose someone with a lot of experience.

  8. It was genius judgement compared to the 72 year old in poor health choosing a small town mayor of 8000 in Alaska.

  9. Considering Biden is a complete contradiction to Obama message of change by being a 36 year veteran of the Washington insider; I would say it was very poor judgment.

Further, with Biden's history of plagiarism, most baby boomers will remember quite well; I'd say it shows his complete lack of good judgment. And in closing, by the selection of Biden, Obama all but admitted he had no experience.

So, to answer your question: Biden=Liability

  10. Joe Biden is experienced and wise in many areas and will be fully capable to assume the role of the president if necessary.

  11. Nope....Biden has a lot to bring to the Presidency.  Although Hillary would have been better...I don't really think she wanted it.  Biden will definitely be an asset.  Obama could have picked anyone and they would still be better than McCain OR Palin:

  12.   I think what Americans want to find out is who will be in office first. A black man, or a women? I won't answer this question because I don't want to be a sexist, nor a racist.

  13. Yep and he is a leading member of the council on foreign relations . A new world order group . Not a good choice for America .

  14. The vice president doesn't have to spend time giving speeches. he needs a firm grasp of foreign affairs, wisdom, and good judgment.

Joe Biden is a man of intelligence, kindness, and decency.

    Obama.Biden 08

  15. Liability, but I'm glad Obama made this very bad call.  It would be a shame to have picked someone worthy of the VP spot and then have that person live through the pain of a failed candidacy.

  16. YOU BET YE, it is not every day we have a religious fanatic on the ticke, who thinks she can bamboozle us with claiming her daughters first born is in fact hers, and the second one on the way is hers too I guess, what fine christian values that family has.

  17. Obama and Biden

    Osama bin Laden

  18. The Democratic nominee picks a running mate, the news media goes crazy, and then the Democrats have their convention. The Republican nominee picks a running mate, the news media goes crazy, and then the Republicans have their convention. The fact that McCain didn't properly vet Palin will likely mean she gets more coverage than she normally would, and that's not a good thing.

  19. he picked biden to pick up the white male vote, which I take as an insult! That sh## dont work

  20. NO. OBAMA/BIDEN 2008!!!!! ;-)

  21. A safe, bland call on his part.
