Fight probably never going to happen. There has been a lot of hype for Tyson to fight mma, but they say it may never happen. Most want to see him box Kimbo Slice.

I think there was a conditional contract that never worked out between Sapp/Tyson

Say what you like about Mike Tyson but he was heavyweight champion of the world and should be given the dignity that goes with once having held that title. I would hate to see him further degrade himself and the title he once held by fighting some bum in MMA .

Never did and never will.  Tyson flirted with MMA on several occasions, and even had a contract at one point, but he never fought.

Mike Tyson is probably the best talent wasted away ever!

The idea of Mike fighting MMA was tossed around, but Mike never went through with it.  He was in attendance at a Bob Sapp fight and actually came into the ring after Sapp's win and Sapp charged him and everyone got in between them before anything physical happened.  Sapp then called him out to a fight.  It looked fixed to me.  I think it was all for pub to enhance Sapp's career, but who knows.  It might be real and this fight still could happen.  I know I would pay to watch this fight!
